Raven Dancer
This painting was created live during the Native Dance Symposium in 2005. It focuses on the Raven Dancer, mainly because I felt the Raven is one of the most important symbols of our West Coast heritage.
Many people participated in the creation of this painting as they passed by, placing their own spot of paint to represent a spark.
To me, this painting radiates love of the the First Nations culture and an expression of prayer through dance.
