Treasures of Spirit

This is a painting about enthusiasm or "God within." Through my art, I try to encourage my children to be enthusiastic about everything they do, even if it¹s something they don¹t like doing. I feel that having a positive attitude about life can change an atmosphere of negativity into a joyful experience. It¹s one of the treasures we are given, which can lead to a happy and full life.

Treasures of Spirit is a colourful image of a native hummingbird and an illustration of a hummingbird. It give a sense of spring and beauty and appreciation and the two cultures coming together.
One hummingbird represents our spiritual existence, while the other our material. Development of both leads to a kind of happiness which can only be experienced by one’s own efforts.
