Black Beauty

While on my way to Penticton with a friend of mine, we came across this beautiful healthy black bear feeding on dandelions.

He seemed so content munching on the yellow flowers that he did not mind me photographing him for this painting.

I got close enough to capture his expression, which looked so peaceful. I can't remember a more rewarding moment than this one, as I learned so much about him just from observation.
